Michael Silverman, President of Cardinal Young Alumni, MS&E '13
In addition to serving as President of CYA, Michael is an Associate at Banneker Partners., where he invests in internet software companies. Michael graduated from Stanford in 2013 with a degree in Management Science & Engineering (MS&E). You can likely find him at as many CYA events as he can attend, volunteering with the National Park Service, or finding the next great ice cream spot in San Francisco.
Addy Mendoza, Product Design, '13
After graduating in 2013, she remained on the Stanford campus working to enhance the program offerings of the Office of Undergraduate Admission and Admitted Student Programs. Addy could also be spotted performing with a cappella singing group Stanford Mixed Company or performing in Mem Aud for Ram’s Head Theatrical Society. Addy pursued her B.S. in Product Design Engineering. Since leaving Stanford she has been working in the tech industry doing headhunting, recruiting, and operations for various start-ups.
Alex Muller, Symbolic Systems, BS '10
Alex joined the board as treasurer in January of 2014. After graduating with a degree in Symbolic Systems in 2010, Alex went into software engineering, and he is currently an engineering manager at Yelp. Alex is a big sports fan, and can often be found cheering on Andrew Luck and the Colts or Stephen Curry and the Warriors.
Marielle Price, Civil & Environmental Engineering BS '11, MS '12
While at Stanford, Marielle was involved in Green Living Council, Students for a Sustainable Stanford, Chi Omega, and worked at the Office for Sustainability. Since graduating in 2012 with a Master's degree in Sustainable Design and Construction, she's worked at a commercial general contractor, focusing on buildings with passive design, healthy and low-impact building materials, graywater/rainwater reuse, and overall net zero energy. Marielle loves urban exploring and hiking on the weekends, as well as trying out new delicious restaurants in SF.
Eric Yurko, CS '13, Masters '14
Eric currently works at Google as a software engineer on their Engineering Education team. He is extremely passionate about the intersection of education and computer science, as well as doing outreach and mentorship. When he's not working, you can usually find him playing board games or searching for a new, even more complex one.
